Preparing DEP-enrolled device for repairs

If you need to prepare a DEP device for repairs or otherwise prevent the device to be enrolled to Miradore Online automatically, you can remove Enrollment profile from the device in Miradore Online. Open "Device enrollment program" page, select the device and select action Remove enrollment profile.

Alternatively, you can remove the server assignment for the device in Apple DEP portal by selecting Manage devices, enter correct device serial number and select Unassign devices from the drop down.


After the repairs, either the enrollment profile and/or the server assignment can be assigned back to the device before it's given back to its user.
