Questions and answers:
Can I use my personal Microsoft account for authentication?
- No. Sign-in using personal Microsoft accounts (Windows Live ID) is not supported.
Why can't I sign in to Miradore using Microsoft work or school account?
- Make sure your Miradore account is the same than your Microsoft work or school account.
- Ask your organization's Microsoft Azure administrator to ensure that User assignment is not required for Miradore on Microsoft Azure. If user assignment is required, then the administrator first needs to assign your Microsoft work or school account to the Miradore app, before you can use the account for signing in to Miradore. See Microsoft's documentation for more.
Why does my sign-in attempt fail with error "Sorry, but we're having trouble signing you in. Application ... (Miradore Online) is disabled" ?
- Your administrator may have disabled the possibility to use Microsoft work or school accounts for signing in to Miradore in your organization. You can contact your administrator and ask him or her to activate the possibility sign-in to Miradore from Microsoft Azure. See Microsoft's documentation for more.
Is it possible to deny sign in to Miradore using Microsoft work or school accounts?
Yes. On Microsoft Azure, it is possible to set "Enabled for users to sign-in" setting as "No" for the "Miradore Online" enterprise application, which disables the possibility. See Microsoft's documentation for more.
Can I disable login using Miradore accounts?
- No. At this point, it is not possible to prevent users from logging in to Miradore with their Miradore accounts. Users can login with both: their Miradore accounts and Microsoft work or school accounts.
What if I have two-factor authentication enabled for my Miradore user account?
- Miradore's two-factor authentication protects the security of your Miradore user account. If your Miradore user account is the same than your Microsoft work or school account, then you'll be forced to use two-factor authentication also as part of the Microsoft work or school account authentication.
