About users

In Miradore, user configuration items are used to model the end-users who are responsible for the mobile devices that are managed with Miradore. Each user item contains and stores the information and settings for one user. One person can also be responsible for multiple devices.

You can manage the users in the Company > Users page. You can perform user management tasks, such as adding and deleting users by using the buttons on top of the page.

About locations

In Miradore, location configuration items are used to represent the physical locations where the managed devices reside. A location can represent, for example, a continent, country, city, village, or even a building or some specific room, but only locations known to Nominatim are shown in the map in Miradore.

In addition, the locations can be arranged into a hierarchy, and there is no limit for the depth of the hierarchy. The map location in Miradore is always calculated based on the leaf node in the location hierarchy. For example, if the location hierarchy is "Europe > Switzerland > Bern", then Bern would be the leaf node.

You can manage locations in the Company > Attributes page.
